伝えたい事は同じでも、伝わらなければ未熟ですね。
伝える方も、受け取る方も。
表現のしかたは人それぞれです。
子供を心配する親が、子供を殴って愛を示そうとしても、受け取る側に伝わらなければただの暴力にすぎません。
逆に、行為は同じでも、その親が本当に心配なのは、世間体かもしれませんよね。
表現のしかたは同じでも、元になる思いが違えば、意味は逆になります。
暴力は愛ではないんです。
ただ、愛は暴力でも表現出来るということです。
愛はいろいろなもので表現が可能なんです。
ただ、受け取る側に伝わらなければ、行為そのものでしかないということです。
どんなに強い愛情も、相手に理解の可能な表現でなければ、相手を傷つけるだけで終わってしまいますよね。
『About Love』 (Written at the age of twenty)
Even if the message one wishes to convey is the same, if it fails to be communicated, it remains immature—both on the part of the sender and the receiver.
Methods of expression vary from person to person. A parent, worried about their child, might try to show love by striking them; yet, if that message is not received, it is nothing more than mere violence. Conversely, even if the act remains the same, what that parent truly fears might simply be their own public reputation. Even when the mode of expression is identical, if the underlying intent differs, the meaning becomes the complete opposite.
Violence is not love. However, love can be expressed through violence.
Love can be manifested through various forms. Yet, unless it is communicated to the receiver, it remains nothing more than the act itself. No matter how powerful the affection, if it is not expressed in a way the other person can understand, it will only end in causing them pain.
